Systems Thinking Work Related Violence in City Councils Research Report
The Victorian Government recently released a Guiding Principles document (May 2019) to aid the prevention and management of work-related violence within the Victorian Public Service. The goal of this project was to assist city councils, WorkSafe and other stakeholders to drive systemic change through strategic interventions to prevent work-related violence. A systems-thinking approach is required as a first step to better understand these incidents, review and revise existing risk controls and to develop feasible and practicable control measures. This report presents a brief summary of the key findings of the stages of the project.
